Coaching Clinics

These clinics provide visual learning and hands-on experience in each sport.  Each clinic is taught by  experienced, certified clinicians and coaches using applicable rules. All coaches are required to attend.

SCOREKEEPING:

• Learn to accurately keep score.
• Get hands-on experience.

COACHES LEARNING TO OFFICIATE:

• Learn proper communications with coaches, protocol, signals, and dynamics.
• Learn the responsibility of each official and learn confidence.
• Learn penalties and how to assess those penalties.
• Learn to assess time-outs and to facilitate substitutions.
• Get hands-on experience with whistle/voice.
• Learn proper signals.
• Get hands-on experience.

COACHING YOUNG PLAYERS:

• Learn the game.
• Learn skills and drills needed.

LEARN COMMUNICATION WITH YOUNG PLAYERS AND PARENTS

LEARN HOW TO PROPERLY WRAP AN INJURY AND TO PREVENT INJURY:

• Learn from licensed physical therapists.
• Learn current warm-up techniques.
• Find out the latest nutrition needs for athletes.
• Learn how to spot an injury and simple tests to see if an athlete can continue.
